1. About Salama Recovery
Salama Recovery is a marketplace technology platform operated by M J N Network Websites Designing, a sole establishment licensed in Abu Dhabi, UAE (Licence No. CN-6628075) ("Salama Recovery", "we", "us"). We connect customers who need vehicle recovery with third-party licensed transport companies. We are a technology company only: we own no recovery vehicles, transport equipment, or other operational assets, and we employ no drivers. We facilitate the connection between you and a transport company and pass on the information needed for the service to take place. We do not carry out the recovery or transport ourselves.
2. How the Service Works
When you place a request online, you provide details including your vehicle's location, your contact number, and your vehicle information. We use these details to match your request with an available transport company and to notify their driver to contact you and attend your location. Once a request is confirmed, we share the registration details of the vehicle that will be assisting you. We do not guarantee that a provider will be available, accept your request, or arrive within any specific time.
3. Transport Companies and Drivers
The recovery service is carried out by third-party transport companies that are licensed in the UAE. Their drivers are employed by those companies, hold valid vehicle registration, and are insured in accordance with UAE traffic regulations. These companies and their drivers are not employees, agents, or representatives of Salama Recovery, and we do not direct or control how they carry out the recovery. We do not guarantee the quality, conduct, timing, or outcome of any service they provide.
4. Insurance
The transport companies operating through the platform maintain valid vehicle registration and insurance for their recovery vehicles as required by UAE traffic regulations. Separately, any vehicle transported on or by a recovery vehicle must carry its own valid road insurance, and insuring the transported vehicle is the customer's responsibility. Salama Recovery does not provide, arrange, or verify insurance.
5. Your Responsibilities
By placing a request you confirm that: you are at least 18 years old; you are the legal owner of the vehicle or authorized to request its recovery; the vehicle is legal to move and is not stolen or subject to an active impound or hold; and all information you provide (location, registration, vehicle condition) is accurate. Where a vehicle is involved in an accident, you are responsible for obtaining any police report required before the vehicle can legally be moved.
6. Personal Belongings
You are responsible for removing all personal belongings and valuables from your vehicle before it is collected. Salama Recovery is not responsible for any loss of or damage to items left inside or with the vehicle during recovery or transport.
7. Payment
Payment for the recovery service may be made in advance by electronic payment or in cash. Payment is for the service provided by the transport company. Salama Recovery is not responsible for any payment dispute between a customer and a transport company or its driver.
8. Limitation of Liability
Salama Recovery provides a technology platform only and is not liable for any loss, damage, delay, theft, or injury arising during or in connection with a recovery or transport service. Such responsibility sits with the transport company carrying out the service and their insurance. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Salama Recovery's total liability to you is limited to any fees you have paid to Salama Recovery.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Salama Recovery harmless against any claims, losses, or costs arising from your use of the platform, the accuracy of the information you provide, or the recovery or transport service itself.
10. Prohibited Use
You may not use the platform for any unlawful purpose, to submit fraudulent requests, or to misuse a driver's or transport company's contact or vehicle registration details.
11. Data & Privacy
We collect customer and vehicle information to operate the platform and share the assisting vehicle's registration details with you as part of the service. By using the platform you consent to this sharing. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the applicable federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Abu Dhabi.
